The Ancel PB500 is an advanced automotive circuit tester, designed for quick and accurate diagnosis of electrical systems in 12V and 24V vehicles. With seven test modes—including voltage measurement (AC/DC), frequency analysis, duty cycle, fuel injector circuit detection, resistance, and diode test—this tester offers comprehensive functionality for both professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts. The device features a TFT color display (160x128 dpi) for clear presentation of measurement results and supports both digital and waveform display in certain modes.
Thanks to the built-in LED lighting and a 6-meter long cable, the PB500 offers flexibility and ease of use, even in poorly lit or hard-to-reach spaces. The tester is equipped with an internal automatic fuse that protects the device from overload, enhancing user safety.
Features:
-
Voltage Measurement (DC/AC): Measures DC voltage from 0 to 65V and AC voltage up to ±110V, with a resolution of 0.1V.
-
Frequency analysis: Detects frequencies from 0Hz to 10kHz, useful for testing sensors and signal circuits.
-
Duty Cycle: Measures the duty cycle of pulse signals, ranging from 0.0% to 100.0%, essential for analyzing PWM signals.
-
Fuel injector circuit detection: Tests the operation of fuel injectors by measuring voltage and timing, with a voltage range up to 180V and duration from 0 to 25ms.
-
Resistance measurement: Measures resistance from 0 to 100 kΩ, useful for checking components and wiring.
-
Diode test: Checks the operation of diodes, including germanium and silicon diodes, by measuring the voltage drop.
-
Continuity test: Detects open and closed circuits using an acoustic signal and LED indicators.
Special features:
-
Component activation: Allows for the direct activation of electrical components at the push of a button, without additional wiring.
-
Polarity detection: Indicates the polarity of the circuit using red and green LEDs.
-
Built-in flashlight: Illuminates the test area, which is handy when working in dark environments.
-
Automatic fuse: Protects the device from overload; in case of overload, the fuse automatically switches off to prevent damage.
-
Long cable: With a cable length of 6 meters, the PB500 provides sufficient reach for various applications in vehicles.
