The Topdon TB6000Pro is a professional Trickle Charger and Battery Tester, designed for mechanics and diagnostic technicians who require standardized charging and testing capabilities. This compact system delivers a maximum charging current of 6A and is suitable for diagnosing and charging 6V and 12V batteries. The device supports a wide range of battery types, including AGM, GEL, conventional lead-acid, and LiFePO4. Thanks to the integrated test and charging cycle, the system offers an efficient solution for battery analysis in vehicles with a battery capacity between 5Ah and 240Ah.
The charging process is controlled by a multi-phase charging cycle of nine steps, which automatically adjusts parameters during desulfation, bulk charging, and absorption phases. Constant voltage regulation monitors internal resistance to prevent temperature buildup and gassing. Once the battery is fully charged, the device activates a maintenance charge to keep the battery voltage stable without the risk of overcharging. Integrated battery protection secures the charging circuit against reverse polarity, short circuit, and overvoltage, making the charger safely applicable within the specific charging characteristics of both lead and lithium chemistries.
