The Topdon ArtiDiag EU is a wired Diagnostic Tool, specifically designed for 15 European vehicle brands, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen. The device is equipped with a 4-inch display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and 32 GB of storage memory. The functionalities include full system diagnosis, actuator control, ECU coding, and various maintenance functions. The license includes lifetime software updates.
In addition to the basic functions, the Topdon ArtiDiag EU offers a VAG-guided function for step-by-step troubleshooting of vehicles from the Volkswagen group. The user interface is designed for visualizing live data, supporting the analysis of vehicle performance. The device performs a full OBD2 diagnosis for a comprehensive check of the emission system.
Diagnostic functions:
The ArtiDiag EU performs a full system diagnosis for supported vehicle brands, analyzing all present electronic control units.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears fault codes (DTCs) from all available vehicle systems, such as engine, transmission, ABS, and airbags.
- Live data: Displays real-time data from sensors and components in textual or graphical format.
- Actuator control: Performs bidirectional tests to directly control components and actuators and check functionality.
Service and maintenance functions:
This device supports more than 28 service and maintenance functions. The availability of specific functions may vary by vehicle brand, model, and year of manufacture.
Engine and drivetrain:
- Reset oil service: Resets the maintenance interval and service light after an oil change.
- Learn throttle body: Initializes the throttle body actuators to default values.
- Code injectors: Writes the new injector codes to the control unit after replacement.
- Reset transmission adaptive values: Resets the learning values of the automatic transmission.
- Learn crankshaft position sensor: Performs a learning procedure for the crankshaft position sensor.
- Learn EGR valve: Adjusts the values of the exhaust gas recirculation valve after cleaning or replacement.
- Engine power balancing: Analyzes and optimizes the contribution of each cylinder to engine power.
- Reset air/fuel ratio (A/F): Resets the parameters for the air-fuel ratio.
- Deactivate stop/start system: Configures the settings of the automatic start-stop system.
Brakes:
