The OBDSTAR TCM-020 Adapter Cable is specifically designed to connect a GM 23-pin TCM connector (Transmission Control Module) to a standard 15-pin DB15 connector. This cable facilitates a direct communication line with transmission units of the 6T70, 6T75, and 6T80 types, which are widely used in various passenger cars. The design is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR diagnostic devices and programmers to perform bench-mode operations directly on the module.

The wiring ensures stable signal transmission between the hardware interface and the transmission module outside the vehicle. Thanks to the fixed pin configuration, the required power, ground, and data lines, including the CAN-bus signals, are correctly routed to the DB15 interface. This eliminates incorrect connections with loose pins and guarantees safe data exchange during cloning, flashing, or reading of the transmission control unit.
