The Jaltest A140 Rugged PAD is a rugged diagnostic tablet designed for use in workshops and outdoor environments where standard laptops fall short. The device runs on Windows 11 Pro and is equipped with an Intel Core i5-10210U processor with a clock speed up to 4.2 GHz via Intel Turbo Boost, supported by 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 14-inch TFT LCD HD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 features LumiBond technology from Getac and a brightness of 1,000 nits, making the screen readable even in direct sunlight.

During diagnostic work, the tablet communicates with vehicle systems via the Jaltest software using Bluetooth v5.2, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201, or wired Ethernet 10/100/1000. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, HDMI 1.4, LAN (RJ45), and a dock connector. Power is supplied by two swappable Li-ion batteries of 10.8V and 3,220 mAh with LifeSupport technology, enabling battery changes during use without shutting down the tablet. Operation is via the capacitive multi-touch screen with protective film.
