The GoDiag GT100+ is an OBDII breakout box and ECU connector, designed for testing and diagnosing vehicle electronics. The device allows monitoring communication on all 16 pins of the OBDII port via LED indicators. A built-in digital display shows the current voltage and current, which helps analyze the status of the ECU and the power circuit. The GT100+ functions as an interface between a diagnostic tool and the vehicle, or for connecting ECU modules on the workbench.
This breakout box offers extensive capabilities for working with ECUs outside the vehicle. It can power one or multiple ECUs for diagnosis, programming, and coding. Additionally, the GT100+ can be used as an external power supply for the vehicle during battery replacement to prevent data loss in the control units. The included DB25 cable and xWire connectors enable specific connections for various programming and testing scenarios. The device also supports conversion of older OBD1 interfaces to a standard OBD2 connection.
Application and functionality:
The GoDiag GT100+ offers various functions for diagnosis, programming, and testing of vehicle systems:
- OBDII protocol detection: LED indicators show communication activity on each pin of the OBDII port to check the status of the diagnostic connection.
- ECU connection on the workbench: Enables connecting one or multiple ECU modules outside the vehicle for programming, coding, or diagnosis.
- Voltage and current display: An integrated digital screen shows the real-time voltage and current of the connected ECU.
- Vehicle power supply during battery replacement: Supplies power to the vehicle via the OBDII port to prevent loss of settings and memory data during battery replacement.
- Extension cable: Functions as an extension cable between the vehicle’s OBDII port and a diagnostic tool.
- OBD1 to OBD2 conversion: Can be used with an Adapter to convert an older OBD1 diagnostic interface to a standard OBD2 plug.
- CAN bus test: Includes switchable 120 ohm resistors for checking communication on the CAN bus network.
