The BMC Euro 6 DTC remover is a specialized diagnostic tool designed for professional mechanics and drivers of heavy commercial vehicles. This compact device connects directly to the OBD port and is used for quickly and efficiently clearing fault codes in the onboard computer. The system is specifically developed to remove error messages related to emission systems and engine management, preventing unnecessary downtime on the road and allowing the vehicle to be safely driven to a secure location or workshop.

Technically, the module communicates via the CAN-bus network directly with the relevant ECUs of the truck. Once the device is connected, it processes the network protocols and sends a clear command to reset historical (stored) DTCs in the modules for the engine and the aftertreatment system. Clearing these fault codes can temporarily disable an active limp mode. This also allows the technician to clean the fault memory and accurately re-evaluate the current status of the vehicle systems after a test drive.
