The Autel MX-Sensor 315MHz+433MHz (Aluminum) is a TPMS sensor designed for professional tire service and vehicle diagnostics. This direct TPMS sensor is constructed to precisely measure the current air pressure and internal temperature of the tire in the wheel. The hardware architecture combines both 315 MHz and 433 MHz frequencies on a single circuit board, making the sensor compatible with nearly all passenger cars and light commercial vehicles factory-equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
While driving, the sensor continuously records data and transmits it via an RF signal to the vehicle's control unit (ECU). For correct operation and recognition by the vehicle system, the sensor requires programming where a unique sensor ID is written. The technician can clone the ID of the original defective sensor using a compatible TPMS tool or generate a completely new ID. When generating a new ID, a specific learning process (relearn) is necessary, depending on the vehicle brand. Thanks to enhanced transmission power, this programming process can also be performed wirelessly when the unit is already mounted in the tire, making the workshop process more efficient.

ATTENTION POINTS
Applications and functionalities
The unit is designed to measure vital tire data and transmit it to the onboard computer, aiming to increase safety and minimize tire wear. The following core functionalities are supported:
- Tire pressure measurement: Measures the current air pressure in the tire within a range of 0 to 800 kPa and sends this data to the vehicle system to warn of sudden or gradual pressure loss.
- Temperature measurement: Records the internal tire temperature (from -40°C to +125°C) to enable the ECU to compensate pressure values based on temperature fluctuations and warn of overheating.
- Sensor ID cloning: Allows the technician to digitally read the unique identification code of the OEM sensor to be replaced and transfer it 1-to-1, enabling the vehicle to recognize the sensor immediately without extra learning procedures.
Special features and capabilities
This sensor line is specifically developed to reduce workshop inventory and streamline installation processes through technical innovations in compatibility and mounting.
- Dual-frequency architecture: Combines transmission protocols for both 315 MHz and 433 MHz, resulting in a single hardware part that covers nearly the entire TPMS vehicle market.
- Wireless multi-programming: The enhanced RF signal (5-8 dBm) enables programming up to 16 sensors simultaneously with a compatible Autel tool, saving significant time when preparing a full set of winter or summer tires.
- Press-in valve system: The housing features a mechanical 'press release' system allowing the aluminum valve to be securely clicked into or out of the sensor with a simple click, without special tools.
