The Autel Fiat-3 adapter is specifically developed to connect older vehicles from the Fiat group to a modern Autel diagnostic tester. This adapter forms the physical bridge between the vehicle-specific 3-pin diagnostic port, widely used before the introduction of the OBD2 standard, and the 16-pin interface of the diagnostic device. The adapter is necessary for diagnostic work on Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia models from the 1990s.
The Adapter converts the layout of the 3-pin connector to the standard pin configuration recognized by the Autel diagnostic system. This correctly transmits the specific communication lines, including the K-Line and L-Line, enabling communication with control units such as the engine ECU, ABS, and airbag modules. The housing consists of a robust one-piece molded block, ensuring durability and protection of the internal wiring in a workshop environment.

ATTENTION POINTS
Applications and functionalities
This adapter is essential for reading older electronic systems where communication occurs via the classic K-Line. The functionalities depend on the diagnostic software used and the vehicle's capabilities.
- Pin conversion: Physical conversion from the vehicle-specific 3-pin connector to the tester's OBD2 interface.
- Communication transfer: Enables bidirectional data transfer for reading fault codes and live data.
- System access: Provides access to various modules such as engine management, ABS systems, and airbags on older models.
